The consultation is an important step in your enquiry into a cosmetic procedure, whether surgical or non-surgical. Not all people are suitable candidates for the procedure they desire.
What does it involve?
Your consultation will be with Dr. Robertson and will include a full discussion on suitability, options, results, risks and recovery time. The information on this website has been prepared to better inform you about any procedure you may be considering. It may help you in developing any questions you may want to ask at the consultation. It is helpful to bring a written list of your concerns with you.
As a general guide the consultation will last about 30 minutes, but this depends on each individual.
Where relevant and with your permission, Dr. Robertson will take photographs at the end of the consultation to aid in surgical planning and to compare with post operative results. These will be stored with strict confidentiality under the regulations of the Data Protection Act.
What happens afterwards?
You may have follow-up questions, these can be answered by phone or for some a second consultation may be appropriate. If you decide to proceed, a date and time will be scheduled for your procedure. You will be then be given specific instructions regarding preoperative and postoperative care. You will be given Dr. Robertson’s personal mobile number to call in case of emergency.
Certain non-surgical procedures may be performed immediately after the consultation as part of the same visit.
What does it cost?
There is no fee for the consultation. A price for your procedure will be assessed at the time of consultation and will depend on your particular requirements. The price quoted is determined by the length and complexity of the procedure. In certain cases it may be possible to quote a price range prior to consultation.
